High Wycombe, UK, 15 March 2016Star Micronics is pleased to announce that Smart Volution is the latest Star partner to complete the integration of its tablet based EPOS solution with Star Micronics’ innovative combined printer and cash drawer mobile point of purchase solution (mPOP). Small and medium sized retailers will now have access to a flexible and stylish payment solution delivering an enhanced customer experience and major benefits to the retailer.

Combining a Bluetooth thermal printer with a cash drawer, mPOP offers the ultimate space saving mobile POS system for retail. Outstanding connectivity and compact design alongside intuitive functionality and simple integration defines Star's unique solution. Simple and stylish, the lightweight and portable solution is just 10cm high and 30cm wide with a sleek design that will complement any counter top. Alternatively, mPOP with front feed receipting can easily be secured under the counter for enhanced space-saving. With intuitive top loading and easy front feed as well as a partial cut guillotine, the reliable thermal printer automatically cuts the 58mm wide receipt.

Smart Volution's Tablet Cash Register (TCR) is a cost effective electronic point of sale (EPOS) running on a standard tablet computer for small and medium retailers. It allows smaller retailers to garner the same efficiencies EPOS provides large retailers but at a significantly lower price point. TCR looks and operates like a standard electronic cash register (ECR), this is something everyone has reference to and simplifies training.
